FAQ

FightersTech was born from a real problem: important competitive information gets lost in algorithms, schedules, and noise. Everything here is designed for players who want to train, organize, and compete without depending on social media.

What is FightersTech and what is it for?
FightersTech is the ultimate application designed to help fighting game players find matches seamlessly and ensure they never miss a local or global competitive event.

Its core features include:
  • Find and organize matches: Search for rivals using advanced filters (specific characters, region, wired LAN or Wi-Fi connection). You can challenge players, propose a date and time, decide if the set will be public or private, and manage it all with our check-in system.
  • Tournament notifications: Stay updated on tournaments organized in your area. Set up custom alerts for your favorite games, defining the search radius, specific coordinates, and the exact time you want to be notified.
  • Detailed player profiles: Create your Player Card specifying your game, rank, main, and secondaries. Link your social media, gaming platform, and define your playstyle based on a 'brain, body, and heart' score.
  • Integrated schedule and calendar: Track your sent match proposals, add tournaments directly to your calendar to set reminders, and quickly access the physical venue location or the official bracket link.
How can I find fighting game tournaments near me?
To find fighting game tournaments using FightersTech, you just need to set up our powerful event alert system.

Follow these simple steps:
  1. Create your profile: You must have a game profile set up for the titles you want to track.
  2. Access settings: Go to the 'Profile' section in the app and select 'Tournament Notifications'.
  3. Select your games: Choose the specific titles you want to follow.
  4. Define your search area: Set your preferred distance metric (miles or kilometers) and configure your coordinates so the app scans your specific local area. You can also enable our exclusive region-based filters for Online tournaments to ensure a better online experience.
  5. Schedule your alerts: Choose the exact time of day you prefer to receive your daily tournament digest.
Once saved, you will receive daily notifications allowing you to check the venue's location, visit the official tournament link, and even add it to your in-app schedule so you never forget a bracket.
Which fighting games are supported on the app?
Currently, we support all major games with active communities like Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, 2XKO, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, Invincible VS, Guilty Gear Strive, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Melee, Mortal Kombat 1, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, plus retro titles like Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and King of Fighters XV.
How does Matchmaking work on FightersTech?
Matchmaking on FightersTech relies on a highly customizable search and match proposal system, secured with a check-in process—perfect for both tryhard training sessions and casual sets.

Here is how it works step by step:
  1. Search and filters: Find rivals by specifying the exact character you want to practice against (or leave it open). Apply detailed filters like region and connection type (wired or Wi-Fi) to improve connection quality.
  2. Issue your challenge: Browse the list of potential opponents, tap 'actions,' and choose 'propose date' to select the exact day and time for your set.
  3. Match conditions: Specify the character you will use and set the rules. Decide if the match will be 'public' or 'private,' choose the win condition (e.g., First to 3), and confirm your proposal summary.
  4. Manage your schedule: Keep track of who you’ve challenged and cancel pending proposals directly from the 'Sent Schedule' section.
  5. Check-in and Fight: If your opponent accepts, a check-in option will appear 10 minutes before the agreed time. Both players must complete it to confirm attendance. Once checked in, you will receive a notification with specific instructions on where to play or who to invite, depending on each game's lobby system.
